Much like marriage itself, the ideal wedding gift should stand the test of time and bring delight on a daily basis. (No pressure newlyweds!)

Take one of the presents from my own wedding: a gorgeous cashmere blanket given by my lovely friend Jeremy. For the last 11 years it has lived on the arm of our sofa and our family curls up under it daily. It is still as soft and beautiful as the day he gave it to us.
