Our bandana scarves and sarongs are hand-block printed in Jaipur, India, using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Each design is intricately carved into teak wood by a master block carver, then carefully stamped onto fabric by skilled artisans. The alignment of each print is guided by the practiced eye of the printer, ensuring a beautifully handcrafted finish.
Our indigo textiles are created using the dabu technique—a process where designs are printed with a mud paste, then dusted with fine sawdust to prevent sticking when dipped into the indigo vat. To achieve a rich, layered colour, the fabric is repeatedly hand-dipped until the perfect depth of indigo is reached. Finally, the textiles are vigorously washed to remove the dabu and hung to dry in the open air.
A testament to the artistry of traditional printing, each piece carries the unique touch of the hands that made it.
