Composition:

• Natural polished horn
• Small – 70mm diameter, 25mm deep. Medium – 75mm diameter, 25mm deep

Details:

• Upcycled Ankole cattle horn
• Light in tone with natural markings and variation
• Each bangle is unique in colour and pattern
• Wears well stacked with our other bangles

Care:

• Wipe with a soft dry cloth
• Keep away from prolonged water and direct heat
• Occasionally condition with a little natural oil to keep the shine

Animal welfare:

The horn is a by-product of cattle raised for food. No animal is farmed for its horn.

Production:

Handmade in a small workshop in Uganda by a family who sand and polish each horn by hand to bring out the natural colour.

Sustainability:

Ankole horn is usually burnt as waste. Using it puts a discarded material to work and supports skilled hand craft.
