The softest, sustainably-made, handcrafted knitted slippers for women.
Handmade by small-scale artisans in the Ukrainian mountains, these slippers support traditional skills and promote a slower, more sustainable way of making. No mass production. No bulk buying.
The wool used to make these slippers is spun from local pasture sheep. It is undyed and has simply been washed in the clear waters of the surrounding mountain streams.
The soles are made from a durable cow leather hide called "crazy horse," named because it is often used in horse saddle production. The term "crazy" refers to the extreme durability of the material.
These knitted slippers are entirely hand-washable, and if cared for appropriately, they will last many years.
Each pair of slippers comes in a cream drawstring dust bag made from recycled cotton.
