One scarf. Six outfits, before it's even made it into the suitcase.
I tried it on every way I could think of — knotted as a top, wrapped as a skirt, twisted into a dress, tied as a turban.
Not because I'm especially clever with a bit of fabric — I'm not. It's because this particular piece happens to fall in a way that lets it become almost anything.
Fewer things. More ways to wear them. That's rather the point of everything I make. This one just makes the case better than most.
Here's how — and the full tutorial for each, if you want to try them yourself.
1. The Tie-Front Top
Knotted at the waist, worn over shorts or a swimsuit. The most unique of the six, and the first one I put on.
2. The Twisted Halter Top
Twisted and tied behind the neck. A little more finished than the tie-front — good for evenings, still barefoot.
3. The Turban
Wrapped and knotted at the front. Useful to keep dyed hair out of the sun.
4. The Skirt
Wrapped low, tied at the hip — worn over a swimsuit, or for anywhere the weather allows bare feet.
Wrapped higher, tied behind the neck. The simplest way to cover-up when heading for the beach bar.
6. The Scarf
Worn just as it's made to be — draped, loose, nothing clever at all. Some days that's the best look of the six.

It weighs about 100g and folds into the corner of a clutch bag, which is, if I'm honest, half of why I love it.
The design started as a hand-painted piece — a cream base lifted with soft pink, warm yellow and pale turquoise — before it was ever a scarf. Made in 100% rayon, so it falls softly whichever way you tie it. It's the same artwork that runs through our hand-painted Sun-ray Fan, if you'd like the two together.
Six ways is just what I've found so far. If you land on a seventh, tell me.
