Materials:
Woven from cotton offcuts left over from garment manufacturing in Portugal — waste from one industry put to use in another.
Production:
Hand-woven individually on a traditional loom by Portuguese artisans. No two rugs come out exactly alike.
Sustainability:
Because the cotton is reclaimed, no new fibre is grown or dyed for it. Cotton biodegrades naturally in soil.
